RX8, Xray


.-NEW. Por lo que hemos leido, el coche sera completamente fabricado en nylon y con el eje del cambio de 8mm, como el del MRX5. Estara rondando los 600 € y saldra a la venta entre Diciembre y Enero...Ralph Burch correra el pre-mundial con el RX8 en Diciembre en USA.

Aqui os dejo una foto del nuevo XRay....ya se que no es mucho, pero menos da una piedra ¿no?.

Patrick Shafer resume la temporada

En ngracing intentamos tener la opinion de primera mano de los grandes protagonistas de la pista, en este caso nos pusimos en contacto con el patron de Shepherd y esto fue lo que nos conto.

"It was an exciting season with many thrilling races. A highlight was for sure the 3rd place of Marc Rheinard at this years World Championship. To reach a podium spot at the first major race with our brand new Velox V10 was extremly satisfying and pays off for the hard work we have invested. We also had cars in the final at every of the 4 european championships held this year and we won several national titles like the French Championship, the Irish Championship, the Danish Championship and others. All in all it was a good year and we are already looking forward to the next season although I still have two races left. Next week I will travel to Argentina for the Copa Sudamericano and in December I will attend the WC warm-up in Miami.

Novarossi-Shepherd (Italia), matrimonio a la vista.

Estas fechas estan llenas de rumores, y si hace poco salto una noticia-rumor acerca de la prohibicion por parte de Novarossi a sus pilotos (pagados) de llevar Motonica, ahora aparece el posible romance entre los primeros y Shepherd. Este "amor" esta dando sus frutos con el fichaje de Pirani y los no confirmados de Balestri, Vanni, Baruzzi y Romagnoli.

Como ajustar un embrague CENTAX

Muchos nos habeis preguntado como taramos un embrague. Este articulo no va dedicado a los "tops", mas bien es para aquellos que todavia se nos nubla la mente cuando tenemos que ajustar el embrague.

Elementos:
1.- Muelle. Cuanto mas duro a mas revoluciones embragaran maza y campana. No es conveniente apretar un muelle, lo mejor es sustituirlo por otro mas duro.
2.- Mazas internas. Cuanto mas ligeras, a mas revoluciones embragaran maza y campana.

Es necesario llegar a un compromiso entre estos dos elementos para obtener la respuesta que queramos. Si queremos un embrague mas "apretado" y no tenemos muelles mas duros, podemos aligerar las mazas internas.

3.- Maza. Blandas, ataca mucho la campana. Mejor en velocidad punta pero pierdes salida. Si tuvieramos un motor con "potencia infinita", lo mejor seria una maza blanda, es decir, que no pierda vueltas para embragar.
4.- Gap campana-maza. A mayor separacion embragara a mas revoluciones, pero ojo con no perder las mazas internas. Una medida "normal" es 0,6-0,7mm.


.- Un embrague apretado puede que chille mas que corra y que nos haga perder traccion a la salida de las curvas.
.- Un embrague demasiado suelto puede hacernos "caer" el motor a la salida de las curvas y alargar la frenada.

Hobby Pro Open Honk Kong (Shepherd)


"From November 5th till 7th the Hobbypro-Open took place in Hongkong, organized by HobbyPro owner and Shepherd importer Stephen Shih. With 160 Drivers in 3 classes (1/8, 1/10 and 1/10 220mm) it’s one of the biggest races in Hongkong. After a long flight Team Shepherd arrived on Thursday, including Italian top-driver Daniele Ielasi, Swiss talent Simon Kurzbuch and for the first time driving a nitro touring car electric superstar Ronald Völker. After a first small talk at this years Touring Car Masters in Eppelheim Ronald was very eager to test a nitro touring car in the 2010 season but there were full calendars on both sides so there was only the race in Hong Kong left to try it. Also the Worlds finalist 2009 Robin d’Hondt from Belgium found the long way to Hongkong. Normaly the race should start on Friday with free practise, continuing with 4 qualifications á 7 min on Saturday and finally ending up with the finals on Sunday. But the weather wasn’t as good as everybody hoped it would be and on Friday and Saturday there was a lot of rain.
However the “TRC-Track” also includes a roof covered electric track, where Ronald finally drove the Velox V10 for his first time and he was very happy with the result. In spite of the bad weather 140 drivers started with the qualifications on Sunday at 07:30am without any practise! To save some time the organizer changed the length for the qualification from 7 to 4 minutes and for the A final from 45 to 30 minutes. The track was still damp till 10:00 am, so everybody actually had only 2 good qualification runs on a dry track.

Top qualifier in 1/8 was Daniele Ielasi (14laps - 4:18,30) who also made the fastest lap (18,085) and second Simon Kurzbuch (13laps – 4:05,921) both with a “Velox V8” In third position was Robin d’Hondt (13laps – 4:06,724). The fastest 1/10 driver after 2 out of 3 qualification-runs was Ronald Völker with 12 laps in 4:13,325. After 2:30 minutes in his 3rd qualification-run he had a forecast for 12 laps in 4:10 but another car crashed into his Velox V10 so he had to start from second position in the final.
At 2:30 pm the 1/10 A final was started. From the beginning Ronald was very fast. To be safe, he refuelled every 4 minutes. Because of his constant laptimes and fast fuel-stops, he took the lead after 22 minutes. Unfortunately he had a flame-out during the last pitstop and he lost 1 lap. In the end he was in 3rd position and the winner was Hung Cheung Hang from Hongkong.

At 4:45pm the 1/8 A final started. It was already dark and the floodlights were switched on. After 8 minutes Daniele was 1 lap in front of all other drivers. 10 minutes later his car lost more and more steering because there was no more rubber on his left front tyre. As there was no possibility to practise, the tyre wear was much higher than expected and he had to do an unscheduled tyre change. In the end Daniele finished in 3rd position but with his good laptimes he showed everybody how fast his Velox V8 is. The winner in 1/8 was Luk Chi Hung from Hongkong also driving a Velox V8. Simon Kurzbuch ended up in 4th position, because he made some mistakes caused by the unfamiliar conditions under the flood light.

At the end of the day Stephen Shih organized a huge raffle with a Velox V8 and a Velox V10 as top prices sponsored by Shepherd Micro Racing. Afterwards there was a big Asian buffet with some additional pasta for the European people."

Nuevo P81 RS

.-NEW. Buongiorno a tutti ,cercherò di rispondere alle curiosità che sono emerse in questa discussione.La versione P81 RS è il primo vero step di sviluppo della P81 che fu messa sul mercato nel 2009 , perchè il kit P81 pro uscita nel gennaio 2010 , non era altro che una versione comprendente molti optional commercializzati contemporaneamente alla P81 , ma ad un prezzo globale più conveniente.La Motonica RS possiede tante piccole migliorie ad un progetto già valido , abbiamo cercato di irrigidire ulteriormente la struttura a cui sono ancorate le sospensioni , utilizando l'ergal solo nei punti in cui serve veramente , e lasciando in plastica "caricata" le parti dove le vibrazioni che si andrebbero a creare con la rigidità del metallo non consentirebbero il massimo rendimento del motore .La novità principale però è lo "svincolamento " della piastra radio sull'anteriore , che consente di percorrere le curve con un raggio minore , in breve fa "girare" di più il modello , questo sistema può essere disinserito solo serrando due viti ,in modo che in pochi secondi si possa provare questa soluzione senza bisogno di smontare nulla , e per chi ha la fortuna di avere un meccanico senza scendere dal palco .Per quanto riguarda l'abbianamento dei colori , si sa che a qualcuno possono piacere ad altri meno , ma almeno per come la penso io i colori importano poco .

Motonica se saca de la chistera una evolucion del P81. Probada y testada como no por Stefano Solaroli, con el RS pretenden mejorar el coche en condiciones de alto grip.

"Con questi pezzi la Motonica Rs risulta ancora più rigida nell gruppo sospensione posteriore , con miglioramenti nella precisione di guida , anche il porta barra anteriore rende più facile e precisa la regolazione .
La piastra svincolata favorisce la sterzata dell' modello , con questo sistema si può avere la piastra radio svincolata o fissa solo agendo su due viti ." (S.Solaroli)

5º Carrera Social Carsol (Elche)

Este domingo se disputo la ultima carrera del social 2010 del club Carsol. Buen ambiente, buena temperatura y un total de 16 pilotos entre 1/8 y 1/10. El podium de la carrera y del campeonato quedo de la siguiente manera:
