Aqui teneis la primera foto del nuevo y esperado RX8 de XRay. La foto ha aparecido en la web de XRay y todavia no enseña mucho, pero si se le ve un parecido razonable a .....

Lo que si esta claro es que el modelo va bien, Ralph Burch y Mike Swauger estan volando en los Winters de Florida.

"Having you informed about the upgraded Velox V8 "eleven" a few days ago it's time to reveal informations about the Velox V10 "eleven". Basically the kit will remain the same but we added some nice optional parts as well as some updated parts to increase the performance that were also used by Marc Rheinard when he finished on the podium at the World Championship in Houston last year. As requested by many drivers the new kit will be shipped with the extra hard chassis plate which is CNC-machined from the finest high strength 7075 aircraft grade material. It features some additional mounting holes for the optional brass battery plate mounts (#512302) which allows to use up to five of them to reach the necessary minimum weight and lower the centre of gravity at once. In the front excentrics have been updated for a higher position of the differential. The driveshafts will be more parallel to the ground which creates more steering especially in fast corners. The diff outdrives are strategically lightened to reduce the rotating mass. The weight saving compared to the standard ones is more than 27% for all outdrives. Additionally the hard servo saver spring and a full set of aluminum wheel axles is included. The hard coated aluminum axles are more than 67% lighter than the stock ones but the wear is a little bit higher due to the softer material. The harder servo saver spring is an option for a stiffer servo saver setup. Pricing will be released at this weeks toy fair , the new kit will be available at the end of february."

Arranca la temporada en el circuito municipal de Elche con la participacion de 10 pilotos, no esta mal para los tiempos que corren. La carrera se disputo junto con las modalidades de Rally Game y Touring Gas, con lo que al final fueron casi 30 pilotos los que rodaron.

La carrera de 1/8 fue dominada por Sveta Baldani que consiguio la pole y la victoria.

En mangas los tres primeros fueron:

.- Sveta Baldani (Velox-IDM)

.- Nicolas Messerli (966-OS)

.- Nacho Garcia (Velox-JBTRC)

La clasificacion final de los cinco primeros:

.- Sveta Baldani (Velox-IDM)

.- Pablo Macia (Velox-IDM)

.- Alfonso Esparza (Mugen-Novarossi)

.- Miguel Guillos (M3-Piccosolaroli)

.- Nacho Garcia (Velox-JBTRC)

Nacho Lopez ya esta en Contrast

Como adelantamos, Nacho Lopez ya trabaja para contrast como Jefe de Diseño. La empresa catalana ha sabido buscar y ha encontrado en Lopez un Ingeniero Mecanico con amplisima experiencia en el radiocontrol que seguro va a aportar sus conocimientos en el desarrollo y evolucion de nuevos modelos en Constrast.

Hara Atsushi, al mundial de Miami.

El subcampeon del mundo en 2010 y campeon en 2008 de off road, Atsushi Hara, va a correr el mundial de Miami. Va a ser sin duda un rival durisimo para los grandes favoritos porque tiene una manos privilegiadas, no en vano tambien tuvo la corona mundia en electricos.

La gran pregunta es con que coche va a correr, ¿recuperaran para la escala los HPI? Seria muy raro verlo correr con un coche competencia de Hot Bodies...¿o es que a cambiado de marca?
