Romagnoli a Shepherd.

We are pleased to announce the addition of front running Italian 1/8th scale racer Michele Romagnoli to our international racing team. His first big event with his Velox V8 "eleven" will be the World Championship in Miami in two weeks time.

After finishing fifth at last years European Championship the Novarossi factory driver is looking forward to racing in Miami for Team Shepherd: "I'm happy to be a part of Team Shepherd and I want to achieve the best possible result with my new team. The Velox V8 "eleven" is a great car and the first tests were very promising".

Nos ha gustado ver como los rodamientos no estan alojados directamente en las tabicas de aluminio. Nos parece una buena solucion usar casquillos de plastico que absorvan vibraciones y disminuir la posibilidad de romper los rodamientos. ¡Buena idea!

Nos llegan noticias de trofeos Novarossi, Shepherd, Motonica, Contact, etc...disputados en diversos circuitos del panorama europeo y mundial...todos con un denominador comun, se disputan fuera de España. Con mucha envidia vemos que esas carreras estan asistidas por grandes pilotos de las marcas y llenas de regalos y promociones para los participantes.

News Team Shepherd

 "The Grand Finale of the Malysian Shepherd Racing Series was held at the Niko Racing Circuit near Johor close to Singapore from 4-6th of March. Patrick Schäfer and his team mechanic Armin Weihert travelled from Germany to Malaysia to attend this event organized by Malaysian distributor Niko Cheng. Addtionally Jilles Groskamp came over from Bangkok to race in the 1/10th scale class while Schäfer participated in the 1/8th scale class.

During qualifying Schäfer and Groskamp had no problems to secure the pole-positions in their classes. Due to an engine problem Groskamp had to take a timeout before the main final and started from last position. After a few laps he was right behind the early leader Azri Amri. Unfortuantely another technical problem forced him to have a long pitstop and he lost a lot of time. Azri Amri cruised to the victory followed by Shafiq and Mizan on third position.

Just before the start of the 1/8th scale final rain hitted the track and the organizer decided that the race will be cancelled. Luckily the rain was much less than the days before and the track dried up quickly. From the start Schäfer controlled the field and after a few minutes he already had a big gap on the second placed driver. After 45 min had crossed the finishing line unchallenged in front of Lai Kok Heng 14 laps down and David Voo on third position."

EFRA-IFMAR contra el dopaje...

En la web oficial de EFRA aparece el siguiente texto:

"About tire treatment:

In Miami we will be very strict on checking tires. Tire treatment is not allowed.

We know there are some products availalble which are very difficult to find, however be aware that if we find something you will be disqualified immediately with further consequences for your license in the future. So you better leave all you special bottles with liquids at your home.

So any driver using tires that are wrapped in plastic etc is under suspicion, be awere about that."

Resumiendo...ni estan claros los metodos antidoping ni las consecuencias si cazan a alguien...quiza dependa de como se llame el piloto.

In short ...control doping methods and the consequences if someone are hunted are not clear... maybe it depends of the name of the driver.
