1ª Carsol 2014 1/8PG y 1/10 touring gas

Con buen tenmperatura y un poco de viento se corrió la primera del social del Club Carsol en las categorías 1/8 pista gas y 1/10 touring gas. En 1/8 hubo una inscripción de 6 pilotos mientras que la de 1/10, nueve pilotos.

1/8 on road:

.- pole position; Nicolas Messerli (977-OS)

.- Podium 1ª final; Issac Ascacibar (MRX5WE-OS), Pablo Macia (977-Max) y Carlos Mas (MRX5-Max)

.- Podium 2ª final; Nicolas Messerli (977-OS), Pablo Macia (977-Max) e Isaac Ascacibar (MRX5WE-OS)

Con este resultado, Isaac Ascacibar lidera la clasificación de manera provisional con 5 puntos de ventaja sobre Pablo Macia.

1/10 touring gas:

.- pole posisition; David Belen (XRay)

.- Podium final; Josemi Blanco (Velox-Novarossi), David Belen (Xray) y Pablo Lopez (Serpent)

Shepherd signs Dirk Wischnewski

With great pleasure we would like to announce that worlds finalist and multiple European and German champion Dirk Wischnweski joins our factory racing team for 2014. Living close to the Shepherd company he will be heavily involved in the development of the Velox V10 PRO sharing his huge knowlege with the team.

In the upcoming season Dirk will attend the ENS series, the EC in Valencia and the Worlds in Bangkok as well as some regional races giving trackside assistance to fellow Shepherd racers.

Dirk had the following to say:

"First of all I would like to thank Xray for their support over the last few years but now it's time for a new challenge. I'm really happy to work together with Patrick and the rest of the Shepherd crew for the future. It was not so easy for me to make a decision for the 2014 season but when I think about the small distance to the company and the great improvements Shepherd made on the Velox V10 last year I'm really optimistic and looking forward to attending the upcoming races."

German Awesomatix distributor Shepherd Micro Racing introduced a brand new metal gear set for the new differential "GD2" which comes from Awesomatix without any internals at the moment.

Already successfully tested by Freddy Südhoff and Max Mächler it results in a very smooth and durable running.

The set includes 2 big and 4 small gears as well as 2 hartcoated 7075 T6 aluminium diff pins. Coming with all needed shims it fits perfectly into the GD2 diff set suitable for all A700 models.
