Marc Rheinard a Shepherd

"One of the worlds best rc-car driver joins Team Shepherd for the upcoming season. Marc Rheinard, 2-times IFMAR World Champion, 3-times EFRA European Champion and multi German National Champion, decided to use the Shepherd Velox V10 at this years World Championship in Houston as well as at the European Championship in Goteborg. He will part of the Shepherd factory team to support them with all his racing experience. Marc had the following to say:I'm really happy to be a part of the Shepherd Team for the upcoming season. It will be nice for me to work together with worldclass drivers like the reigning World Champion Daniele Ielasi, the former Worlds TQ driver Jilles Groskamp and all the other drivers in the team. I'm pretty sure that the support from Shepherd will be the best I can get and we are looking forward to have some good results at the Worlds and the Euros this year."

Tobias Hepp ficha por Shepherd

With the start of the new season 2010 talented 16-years old upcoming driver Tobias Hepp will use different products distributed by Shepherd Micro Racing. Besides Novarossi engines he will use MLC fuel by Lamberto Collari as well as Shepherd Racing Tyres in both classes, 1/10th scale on-road and 1/10th scale touring car. Tobias will race the West German Championship, the EFRA Grand-Prix in Apeldoorn and Hildesheim and of course the German Championships in Rötz (1/8) and Leipzig (1/10).

He had the following to say:

I am looking forward to working together with Team Shepherd and I am sure that the use of such high quality products will help to increase my performance in the upcoming season.

Velox, bandeja partida.

Lo vimos por primera vez en el Velox V8 de Sveta Baldani en el circuito de Elche y ahora tambien lo podemos ver el coche de Alberto Aneiros en Cerdanyola. Si os fijais podreis comprobar como han cortado la bandeja a la altura del tren delantero con el fin de permitir que el chasis flexe mas en los apoyos. Para seguir conservando la rigidez longitudinal motan los los dos tirantes uno en cada lado. De esta forma el tren delantero tiene mucho mas agarre y por lo tanto mas direccion. Para circuitos con mucho agarre puede ser un perjuicio al hacer demasiado critica la direccion pero para circuitos con poco grip si puede ser una solucion valida. Modelos como el P81 de Motonica tambien estan construidos de esta manera y facilitan en opcion piezas para rigidificar esa parte del chasis. Intentaremos hablar con los pilotos de Velox para conocer sus impresiones.
