Shepherd Velox V8 "EC" official release

Shepherd saca al mercado la ultima evolucion del V8 recogiendo todas las mejoras que los pilotos oficiales han ido probando hasta conseguir ser Campeon de Europa en 2013, tanto en el Euro A como en el B. En mi opinión personal y reconociendo que algun problema tenia, por lo menos el modelo de 2012, el Velox es el coche mas rápido y agil que yo he probado. En esta ultima evolucion seguro se han corregido esas pequeñas anomalías. COCHAZO!!!

 

Although the latest Velox V8 kit is already avaiable for some time we are following up with the official release. The Velox V8 "EC" 1/8th scale nitro on-road kit is made to honour the European Championship titles of Jilles Groskamp (EC-A) and Daniel Sieber (EC-B) won with the Velox V8 Pro in 2013. Since the new version is available it continued to achieve great results by placing 2nd and 3rd at the Euros B and leading the point standings at the ENS Series. The main focus with the EC was to simplify maintenance and setup for an easier work on the car as well as some upgrades to improve the performance.

 

The completely redesigned front bumper is 5mm longer and has a new shape for a better seating of the body which is additionally supported by wider integrated body mounts. Several aerodynamic features improve the air flow resulting in more front steering.

 

The front and the rear end are equipped with new 2-piece bulkheads which allow an easy access to the front one-way shaft and rear solid axle respectively reducing the time for maintenance significantly.

 

Updated rear wishbones sport a pivotball for the anti-roll bar linkage making it easier to adjust the correct length of the linkage. The arms for the rear body mount feature a second mounting hole raising the body by 7,5mm which results in more overall downforce and a higher corner speed. Also new to the EC kit is a redesigned radio plate for optimizied flex and a an updated main chassis with additional fixing hole for chassis weights.
