Una vez mas queremos agradecer a Jernej Vuga la ayuda prestada, esta vez nos ha enviado un pequeño manual de como realizar el rodaje al OS Speed. Recordad que el piloto esloveno es oficial de la marca nipona.
Break-in: I do 1 fuel tank with factory settings with WOT (wide open
throttle). Then I cool the engine and then drive it on the track. You should run
the engine for 3 tanks with a very rich setting and a early clutch (early
engaging). After these 3 tanks you stop the engine and let it cool. After that
you restart and start to slowly lean the engine every fuel tank to achieve the
proper tuning. I suggest to use for break-in at least 2L of fuel (OS says 1
gallon).
You have to know that although the piston/sleeve is not very tight they
expand differently as the Novarossi. When the engine gets to operating T (we
drive around 90°C + ambient temperature in race setting) the engine gets more
compression, because of the different dilatation.
